Concordium 2015 is in an inaugural conference that draws on AcademyHealth’s Electronic Data Methods (EDM) Forum and its extensive experience in delivery system innovation. A marriage of the best elements from our previously offered EDM Forum Stakeholder Symposium and the Delivery System Meeting series, Concordium 2015 offers wholly new and unique setting to examine evidence and research using big health care data to advance public and population health and transform health care delivery into a system that achieves the Triple Aim.
EDM Forum Symposium Stakeholder Symposium
Established in 2010 with support from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the EDM Forum drives rapid collaboration among researchers and diverse stakeholders who create data, methods, and evidence to shape the next generation of learning health systems. Initiated in 2011, the EDM Forum’s annual Symposia provided an opportunity for stakeholders to engage in dialogue about methods and data for CER using electronic clinical data. In 2014 a more extensive peer-review program was developed to feature cutting edge efforts using electronic clinical data for research, quality improvement, and healthcare operations.
To review prior symposia agendas and see examples of presentations and posters presented at prior events, please see the EDM Forum Stakeholder Symposium archives.
Delivery System Meetings
AcademyHealth's Delivery System Meetings were held one day prior to AcademyHealth's Annual Research Meeting. Presenters included clinicians, health services researchers, and policymakers who discussed local innovations to improve population health, reduce disparities, and generate evidence about the effects of delivery system and payment reform.
